Dual Extrusion

A dual extrusion, also known as co-extrusion, is the result of a single die designed to accept two materials and merge or bond these two materials into a single part. The bonding of these two parts must be of “like” material. An example would be a shower door barrier that is flexible PVC on one half and rigid PVC on the other half. Another example would be producing one piece that is half white in color and the other half is clear in color.

All of Tex-Trude’s dual extrusion products are custom designed and manufactured to meet the needs of our customer. We will design and build the die, as well as help match materials and colors necessary to complete the job.
